Microblading (also known as feather stroke brows, 3D brows or micro-pigmentation) is an ancient technique that uses a fine blade (micro needles) to implant pigment into the epidermal layer of the skin. This technique creates fine, hair-like strokes which create's a very natural looking brow. (inclusions: brow mapping & shaping, numbing, 1x treatment, aftercare products)

OMBRE (SHADING) $790

The Ombre technique creates the perfect powdered brow look using blended techniques of only shading. This is an ideal method for brow corrections/cover ups, total reshape or improving symmetry, have oily skin, enlarged pores or sensitive skin. (inclusions: brow mapping & shaping, numbing, 1x treatment, aftercare products) 

COMBINATION $790

The Combination technique uses both microblading and ombre techniques combined. This method starts with a complete microbladed brow to firstly create the hair strokes, followed by light shading between various hair strokes. This method is recommended for clients with oily / sensitive skin or who require a natural fuller looking brow. (inclusions: brow mapping & shaping, numbing, 1x treatment, aftercare products)

Brow Touch Up's are for existing clients who have had their brows previously tattooed at Melissa Young Beauty. These prices are for one treatment only. 

First initial touch up (4-8 weeks after 1st treatment) $200

​Touch up 3 - 6 months $300

Touch up 7 - 12 months $400

Touch up 1 - 2 years $500 (another touch up after this may be required depending on fading factor)

Touch up 2 - 3 years $600 (another touch up after this may be required depending on fading factor)

The eyebrow area must be healthy, strong, non-sensitive and non-irriated. Below is how you get your skin ready for cosmetic tattooing:

- Do not pick/tweeze/wax/perform electrolysis one week before

- Do not spray tan two weeks prior to the procedure or have a sunburned face

- Do not have any type of Facial minimum 1 week prior

- Do not work out the day of your treatment

- Do not have botox 3-4 weeks prior to the treatment

- Do not take Fish Oil or Vitamin E one week prior (they are natural blood thinners)

- Do not tint your eyebrows 3 days prior to the treatment

To avoid excessive bleeding and poor healing results:

- Do not drink alcohol 24-48 hours prior

- Do not consume an excessive amount of coffee prior to the treatment

- Do not take Aspirin or Ibuprofen for pain relief (these will thin the blood) at least 48-72 hours prior to the treatment

- Shower your hair the day before your treatment as you won't be able to wet the brows for 7 days post treatment.

The treatment can last anywhere from up to 6 months (sometimes less pending on each individual) up to 2 years. The length of time will always vary from person to person depending on skin type, sun exposure, lifestyle and reaction. Please remember this is a low maintenance brow, not a no maintenance brow - it is normal for certain clients to need more frequent touch ups, for certain parts of the brow to hold differently compared to other parts of the brow and for the brow to fade differently on each brow

We do not recommend getting your eyebrows done while pregnant or breastfeeding due to the anesthetic in the numbing cream we use prior to the procedure. Please advise us if you are pregnant, trying to fall pregnant or breastfeeding.

Yes, every skin type / person will retain pigment differently. Oily skins, very dry skin, enlarged pored skin, mature / sagging skin or sensitive tend to hold less compared to a normal / combination skin type, however, this will always be different for each individual.

This will mean certain skins will require more frequent touch ups.

No, all our appointments are offered as single appointments. We do this as not everyone needs a second appointment after their first initial tattoo appointment.

Yes, as we age, so does our body & skin - this is one part of how a tattoo can heal / fade differently over time. Lifestyle factors also play a large role is how a tattoo can heal / fade or change colour - this includes; active skincare use, change of skin conditions, sun exposure, medications / health changes, swimming in salt + chlorinated water.

$130 | Eyebrow Lamination gives you a solution where your hairs follow a different pattern, with lamination we can realign the brows in such a way to give them the desired shape you want and a fuller look. This treatment solves the messy brow issue, creates volume and fullness, while giving you a sleek well kept brow shape for up to 2 months.  With a new protein composition based on liquid keratin and silicone  you can also encourage brow growth by creating a protective film around the hair.
